Grappa di Amarone della Valpolicella „Rugola”

The warm marcs of our Amarone Classico were immediately sent to the grape spirit distilleries to be distilled according to an ancient process called discontinuous double boiler alembic, a simple device which enhances the characteristics of the raw materials. The distilling process was carried out with patience, attention and expertise. The Amarone grappa that had just been produced already had an elegant scent, while its typical aggressivity was hidden by a delicious taste. We decided to let it rest for approximately 6 months in order to further imrpove its quality.
